[??] The name of the patriarch of this family is not known. There were at least two offspring: Avraham and Jeoshua Avraham Kassorla -m. [??] According to family lore Avraham survived after the Holocaust thanks to a German woman who saved him, and whom he later married. His widow may be still alive. *Jeoshua Kassorla -m. Sara Kimhi Jeoshua Kassorla was born in Monastir. He left in 1926 at the age of 20 to marry Sara Kimhi in Saloniki. They lived in Saloniki and emigrated to Jerusalem before the war, in 1933.
